A Letter from our President

Hello Everyone! My name is Amelia Poch and I am extremely honored & excited to be serving as President of the Pi Beta Chapter for the ‘23-24 term! I had the privilege of experiencing formal recruitment as a freshman last year. From meeting hundreds of girls to hearing countless authentic stories about each sisterhood, I enjoyed each aspect of this process. It was such an eye-opening experience and I found myself wanting to go back to Chi O every single day. Opening my card on bid day, running home, and hugging all the women I connected with was surreal. Chi O has brought me a community and a home filled with so much love & support that I would not trade that for the world. I am so grateful to not only be a part of the wonderful group of women but have to opportunity to be a leader of an organization that is full of genuine, compassionate women. While being in this role I have learned importance of collaboration, communication, adaptability, And most importantly, I have learned to be discouraged never. These words are experiences I have gained from the women I live and work with to make Chi O into the beautiful place and experience it is. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and I could not be more excited and proud to see all that Pi Beta has in store this upcoming year.

Friendship in Chi Omega is seen as a foundational element that supports and enhances other aspects of members' lives, providing a supportive and nurturing environment that encourages personal growth, mutual respect, and lifelong connections. Pi beta aims to foster a community where sisters can find true and enduring friendships, contributing to a sense of belonging and sisterhood that lasts beyond college years.

02

High Standards of Personnel

Chi Omega's purpose of maintaining high standards of personnel is one of our core values. This principle emphasizes the importance of personal integrity, academic excellence, and moral character among our members. By upholding high standards, Pi Beta aims to cultivate a sisterhood that is not only academically accomplished, but also ethically grounded and committed to personal growth.

03

Scholarship

Scholarship in Chi Omega is not merely about achieving high grades but about fostering a lifelong love of learning and intellectual growth. Pi Beta encourages our sisters to excel academically and to take full advantage of the educational opportunities available to them. This focus on education helps ensure that Chi Omega women are well-equipped to contribute meaningfully to their professions and communities.

04

Community and Campus Involvement

05

Career and Personal Development

By integrating career and personal development into our mission, Chi Omega ensures that we are well-equipped to face the challenges of the professional world while also leading fulfilling personal lives. The skills, experiences, and values gained through Chi Omega’s programs and events help us build a strong foundation for lifelong success and personal fulfillment.

Chi Omega’s purpose of community and campus involvement reflects our dedication to fostering a sense of responsibility and active participation among our sisters. This principle encourages us to engage in activities that benefit both our college campuses and the wider community, promoting a spirit of service and leadership. We are proudly partners with organizations such as the Make-A-Wish Foundation to help grant wishes for children with critical illnesses, providing significant support through fundraising and volunteer efforts.

06

Service to Others

Our commitment to service instills a lifelong dedication to philanthropy and community involvement in our sisterhood. Chi Omega has a national partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which grants wishes to children with critical illnesses.
